The interface for the site is painfully bad but apart from that I have no complains. The price of the keys varies from time to time but it’s usually pretty cheap. Most gamers know about G2A and that they sell cheap games ( sometimes suspicious cheap games if you ask me) but recently they added a section where they also sell a range of different steam items including CSGO items and keys. SkinBaron accepts Bitcoin, Paypal, PaySafeCard If you head over to the site and it’s all in German, fear not, just click the flag at the top and you can easily change it to English. They have a easy navigated layout which makes it easy to find what you’re looking for and to buy the keys you need in bulk. SkinBaron is new marketplace dealing in CSGO skins and keys, they’re based in Germany ( where they’re big already) and they’re now expanding their marketplace internationally. The site also have one of the lowest sell fees around, which is good for both buyers and sellers. There’s also a buy order feature which is nice if looking to buy CSGO keys in bulk. The prices on the site is very competitive and one of the cheapest shop on the list. You just have to pay for your items and they will be sent to you within a minute or so. People will sell their skins and keys here and then the shop will take care of the transactions for you. There’s affiliate & referral links in this guide, click them if you want to support the site.īitskins is basically a very similar site as Opskins, it’s just not as popular as Opskins but it’s still pretty busy place with a shitload of trades going on all the time. I won’t display the exact CSGO key price for each store because the prices change all the time and it would only make this guide outdated in a few weeks, instead I’ll give you a short description of the shops and I’ll share my experience dealing with these places. There’s quite a few places where you can find and buy CS:GO case keys and in this guide I will try to collect and list the best shops that sell keys, so you easily can compare prices and find the best places to buy cheap CSGO keys on. thanks for everyone who agrees and is spreading the word.If you want to start trading or if you just like throwing away money by opening cases in CSGO it’s a good idea to stock up on some keys. You see G2A sponsors CS:GO tournaments and many many streamers, please take /u/JeevesMkII message to heart before doing any business with them.Įdit: Context can be found here, thanks to r/undergroundgoron.Įdit 2: went to bed, and woke up with this on front page. Many developers are hurt by G2A and with the popularity of CS:GO, OW, and HS, G2A is already a large sponsor in the gaming community. I was inspired by /u/GRESON2015 (sorry for stealing your comment on the topic :P) post over in r/overwatch and /u/JeevesMkII post in r/hearthstone and and felt that it affects the gaming community as a whole so re-posted his message here. If you're a consumer, don't buy from them or any similar site. If you're a streamer, don't advertise them.
I would ask that streamers weigh the income they receive from any affiliate deal against the damage that grey market retailers are doing to the livelihoods of small and medium sized game developers, not to mention the money they put in the pockets of outright criminals. G2A has aggressively courted streamers of all sorts of games, and I guess if you rely on advertising income for your living it can seem like a very attractive deal.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that it would be better for G2A's customers to have pirated the games they buy instead. The developers do not see a penny of this money, it all goes in to the pockets of criminals and helps perpetuate industrial scale credit card theft and sours the relationships of retailers with their payment providers. To give an idea of the scale of the problem, the developer of Punch Club (and many other titles) TinyBuild claims G2A has sold over $450K worth of their stolen game keys. G2A even offers a scammy "insurance" policy against keys going bad after purchase. Depending on how the keys are obtained, they may even be deactivated before the purchaser can redeem them. The way this works is keys are usually purchased with a stolen credit card and resold before the victim cottons on the fact and issues a chargeback for the fraudulent purchases. In case people aren't aware, G2A is a grey market game key retailer who deliberately turn a blind eye to the fact that the vast majority of game keys they sell are stolen.
